Thank you for your video. One of the very few to show an alternative way of changing the oil on this car. Please do a video of removing the front tire to reach the filter like you mention early in the video. I have a similar car to yours which I love so much except for the oil filter placement... I saw an older video of someone getting to the filter from the top right of the engine bay, and for the life of me, I just can't figure out how he pulled it off... I can't seem to find that video anymore. Thanks in advance.

I'm a fan of Honda Fit, but my concern is when one want to convert to run on CNG (I mean to run both on gasoline and CNG). How can one manage the space for gas cylinder and other conversions' modifications. Or, Does Honda produced CNG Powered Honda Fit? My name is Muhammad Aminu Abubakar commenting from Nigeria. At 71years old I must say after owning many, many vehicles. The fit is the most reliable, cheap to operate car I have ever owned. Mine is a 2010 and runs like a top. Tires and a battery is all it needed. I live in Canada and it's still rust free on the body. Great car and very versatile. Was so disappointed when Honda decided to STOP making them.

As soon as I saw this car I fell in love because I’m a very simple kind of guy and I’ve always appreciated small cars, something about this car feels really special, I’m saving up to get a car I’ll probably grab the 2020 model when I’m able, I can’t see myself getting anything older than a 5 year old car, anything older I’ll be paying for a bunch of repairs.

I replaced the blower motor and selected install or setup in the reset menu, it is now frozen on CONTROL IS FACTORY PROGRAMMED : CANNOT BE USED IN DIFFERENT MODEL FANCOIL How do I get out of this?

I lay the rear seats down to the flat position and remove the headrest on passenger side and move the seat all the way forward then recline it back. In this configuration I have been able to put my 9'6" surfboard in the car with nose of the board on the dash then raise the the front seat up till it touches the bottom of the board for extra support. My friends are amazed and it makes it able for me to stop at the store or to get something to eat without having to worrying about my board being stolen off the roof.

Also when jacking up, always put your emergency hand brake on. If you dont, your back tires might roll back when jacking up.

not sure if you're right saying that engine should be cold. according to the service manual you should warm up engine. halt it and wait for 5 minutes and then pull out the deep stick and check oil level and colour as well. try to do that like I said.

Can some one guide me on one thing? I am thinking to buy Honda fit 2015 hybrid model . It is a japenese imported model with a 75000 KM already done . My question is when do you have to replace its hybrid battery? I have searched online and found it need to be replaced 75k -100k . So can some one guide me on this. And is it worth buying a hybrid car already used 75k KM already. and secondly how can i check its battry health?

I’ve seen the same year with closer to 80k miles for around $14,000. Probably wouldn’t have taken the deal personally, but it’s a honda so it’s probably not going to break down anytime soon. Appreciate your tutorials by the way, the CX-5 oil change video was really helpful!

Super helpful video. Just want to say that upfront before asking for help. lol. I have a 2005 Civic EX. Looked around until I found a blue port, disconnected it, and…it has three pin channels. 🙄🙄 Nothing with the 2005 EX is simple (minor rant below lol). Linear alignment. Maybe one is a ground? Or…I assumed the ports are color-coded and the colors aren’t repeated…wonder if I should reconsider that prior and keep looking. Guess I try looking a little harder, first. Don’t want to accidentally blow up my radio instead of triggering a diagnostic. Then maybe I’ll try creating a short (only three possible combos). But in parallel wanted to ask: Any thoughts?? Check my logic and/or lmk if you have any other ideas, plz? 😇 Tangent 1: You know, since I started teaching myself diy auto repair, I’ve noticed the combo of EX + last year before redesign means I have a surprising number of variations on configuration - most of which make the job harder. Tangent 2: Skimmed through your video backlog, saw one with Talenti in the title, and almost literally rofl’d. I think this video really needs its own comment where I can give this the full treatment it deserves. But just in case I forget to revisit => that video made me feel seen af. 👊🏻.

Wanted to give some tips to those trying to install this. Just as some mentioned when you're removing the plastic "chunk" piece from the car, I suggest taking the time to pull some of the fender wheel area a bit to clear out any debris. Unfortunately CX5's are prone to collecting debris (leaves, mud, dry dirt) that travels and gets stuck in the fender area. In my particular 2018 CX5 the bottom pin was missing and once I removed the plastic "chunk" piece I noticed some leaves,.I dug my hand upward and a TON of debris came out. The leaves traveled as high as where the metal clip you have to attach inside wheel fender. This is for the front area. As for the rear it was just a little bit dry dirt. Apparently the debris comes from the window cowl area and travels downward.
